Perisher is an easy 5.5 to 6 hour drive from Sydney or 7 hours from Melbourne with half the distance on freeway standard or dual carriage roads.

Snowy Gums is located at Willow Rd, Smiggin Holes. From Jindabyne access by road to Perisher, Smiggins and Guthega is via the Kosciuszko Road, with snow chains required to be carried by all vehicles past the National Park entrance. It's an easy half hour drive from Jindabyne in good weather.

Between June 1 and October 10, motorists are legally required to carry properly fitting chains in any vehicle in a "snow-ice" risk section within the National Park.

Entry permits are required for all vehicles at Park Entry Gates. The National Park entry fee for cars is $29 per day or you may prefer to buy an annual pass for $199. This is payable at the National Parks Centre in Jindabyne or at the entry gates.

Snowy Gums on Site Parking:

Parking: Snowy Gums has 7 (seven) On – Site parking bays and 13 (Thirteen) offsite Parking Bays allowing our guest to drive directly to the Chalet.  For guests using our offsite parking, we have Scheduled pick up and drop offs 8. 30 & 9.30am 5.30 & 6.15pm .. These must be pre-booked at the time of making a Reservation.
