Snowy Gums had some great achievements in 2008. We had fantastic snow, which created amazing ski and boarding throughout the Perisher region. Many of our guests commented on the quality of our lodge and the high calibre of our experienced management and young and vibrant Snowy Gums staff. With Australia Day fast approaching we would like to take some time to acknowledge some other great achievements at Jindabyne in 2008. We’d like to specifically mention Aimee Watson and Nicole Parks, who where finalist in the prestigious Ian Thorpe/Grand Slam International Outstanding Achievement award for women. Aimee finished the season ranked number one in Australia for female distance skiing. These two Jindabyne locals showed that skiing in Jindabyne is not just for the recreational holidaymaker. Professional skiers or borders looking for quality slopes in Australia can have a great time at places like Snowy Gums Chalet in the Jindabyne region. We’d like to congratulate the girls on their achievements and we hope to see them at Snowy Gums in 2009.On one last note we’d like to remind you that Snowy Gums is accepting bookings for the 2009 season. So book early to make sure you get the ideal dates and position to make 2009 the best skiing holiday you’ve ever had!
